Bricklin & Newman is a Seattle-based land use and environmental law firm. We primarily represent neighbors, community groups, and environmental organizations adversely impacted by zoning and development proposals that violate local, state, and federal laws. The attorneys at Bricklin & Newman litigate in many different forums, including administrative hearings before city and county hearing examiners and legislative bodies, the Growth Management Hearings Boards, the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council, the Pollution Control Hearings Boards, the Shoreline Hearings Boards, and all levels of the Washington State court system (Superior, Court of Appeals and Supreme Court). We also frequently litigate federal environmental claims under the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, and the federal Administrative Procedures Act.
In addition to our focus on land use and environmental matters, attorneys at Bricklin & Newman also frequently litigate boundary line disputes, easement disputes and disputes involving damage to property caused by negligence, nuisance, trespass, and condemnation. We often represent clients who have been harmed by landslides, flooding, contamination, and other catastrophic events.
Currently, Bricklin & Newman is seeking an associate attorney to be involved in all phases of litigation. The position may be based in Seattle or Spokane, depending on the circumstances.
Pay based on experience level.
